- Update: Friday, April 23rd 2004
Tiny update. TheLostLevels.org has done an article on Sonic X-Treme, in which it appears they contacted Mike Wallis and Chris Senn. Not much else was revealed, but a few of the details go slightly more in-depth than the interview with Mike Wallis on this site. Additionally, Doggone pointed me to Gamepro Online, which (as well as the print magazine) had an article on Vaporware games (Games that never were finished) and Sonic X-Treme got a little blurb. Both these two articles are linked to on the media page, with a screencap of Gamepro's blurb (Since it's so small). Additionally, one new (very terrible quality) screenshot was added, taken from the Lost Levels article. It is perhaps the only screenshot that exists of Crystal Frost. Updated links, as well.
What IS The Sonic X-Treme Information Database?
An archive of what was. It's main purpose was to preserve the memory of Sonic X-Treme. There were too many Sonic sites -- especially "Sonic Secrets" sites out there that contained little or no information on Sonic X-Treme. Magazine articles which were scanned and scattered across the web in a thousand different spots -- there was no one place to go. One place to read it all. You had to waste your time going between many different sites, and even then, you would only recive part of the what Sonic X-Treme was really all about.
So I created this. This site had the most information all in one place about Sonic X-Treme before anyone else -- and to this day, it probably still does. We are the one, completely unified source to bring you the latest and greatest Sonic X-Treme had to offer. Be it an interview with Sonic X-Treme's Lead Director, Mike Wallis, be it over 30 images of Sonic X-Treme's levels, be it concept art, video footage, magazine articles... it's all at your fingertips. Go wild.
